Gli studiosi, dopo aver osservato le caratteristiche architettonico-decorative della villa, hanno ipotizzato che sia stata costruita nel XVIII secolo. A confermare questa tesi è la testimonianza dello studioso Tiozzo, il quale ha documentato la presenza di affreschi negli interni, realizzati nel XVIII secolo, e la data “1774”, segnata in una delle pareti, probabile data di costruzione dell’edificio.
Inoltre, è stato documentato che la costruzione allo stato attuale non è riconducibile ad un progetto unitario ma a vari interventi effettuati nel corso dei secoli.
I primi proprietari furono la famiglia Dolcetti, in seguito fu acquistata dall’industriale Mazzucato. Sembra che in questa villa vi abbia abitato una modella e amica di Lino Selvatico, noto artista Padovano.
Dopo il restauro, eseguito negli ultimi anni del XX secolo, la residenza d’epoca è diventata un albergo.

Scholars, after observing the architectural-decorative features of the villa, hypothesized that it was built in the 18th century.
