Non si conosce l’anno di costruzione della Villa che fu acquistata nel 1660 da Niccolò Venier. Nel 1991 è stata acquisita dall’Istituto Regionale Ville Venete.
La Villa è composta da un corpo centrale che costituisce l’edificio principale e da due barchesse collegate al corpo centrale da porticati costruiti in un secondo momento. Le barchesse erano destinate agli ambienti di servizio e a foresteria e risultano essere la parte più suggestiva della Villa.
La barchessa posta a ovest presenta un piano seminterrato con soffitto a volta e i tre saloni di cui è composta sono completamente affrescati. L’autore più probabile di questi affreschi è il romano Francesco Ruschi e il suo allievo Antonio Zanchi. Gli originali affreschi secenteschi sono stati in parte ridipinti e restaurati con interventi successivi. Il risultato finale è un susseguirsi di colonne, loggiati, balaustre e nicchie di grande effetto scenografico. Negli affreschi delle pareti sono rappresentati episodi tratti dall’Odissea, dall’Eneide e dall’Illiade.
La barchessa ad est ha un salone affrescato con scene ispirate alla storia di Psiche il cui autore si ipotizza possa essere il fiammingo Daniel Van Den Dyck.
L’oratorio venne ricostruito nel 1752 e l’intero complesso è inserito in un parco.

The year of construction of the Villa is unknown, which was purchased in 1660 by Niccolò Venier. In 1991 it was acquired by the Veneto Ville Regional Institute.
The Villa consists of a central body which constitutes the main building and two barchesse connected to the central body by arcades built at a later time. The barchesse were intended for service areas and guesthouses and are the most suggestive part of the Villa.
The barchessa located to the west has a basement with a vaulted ceiling and the three halls of which it is composed are completely frescoed. The most likely author of these frescoes is the Roman Francesco Ruschi and his pupil Antonio Zanchi. The original seventeenth-century frescoes have been partly repainted and restored with subsequent interventions. The final result is a succession of columns, loggias, balustrades and niches of great scenographic effect. The frescoes on the walls depict episodes from the Odyssey, the Aeneid and the Iliad.
The barchessa to the east has a hall frescoed with scenes inspired by the story of Psyche whose author is supposed to be the Flemish Daniel van den Djckj (Antwerp 1614 - Mantua 1670).
The oratory was rebuilt in 1752 and the entire complex is part of a park.
